All About Mrs Mojica!
Hello! My name is Christina Mojica and I am so very happy to be your child's first grade teacher. My background includes a BA in French and Spanish from Ripon College in Ripon, WI, and a M.Ed in Curriculum & Instruction with focus on Elementary Education from Loyola University-Chicago in Chicago, IL. This is my fifth year teaching first grade at Willow Springs Elementary, and my 14th year teaching overall. I taught 1st for a year at Walnut Creek Elem in Raleigh, Spanish K-3 at Willow Springs Elem for 3 months, 4 years of 2nd grade and 4 years of 3rd grade at Kilmer Elementary School in Chicago, IL. While my daughter, Evelia, and my husband, Rafael, were both born in Chicago, I was born in Sheboygan, WI, and between then and now, I have lived in 6 different states (WI, PA, NY, back to WI, MA, IL and now NC), along with having traveled to 30ish others. :-) I still enjoy traveling both in North America and around the world, but now that I'm a mom and we're home owners with an assortment of pets, that has obviously slowed down to shorter trips with exploring our new home state of NC and visiting family in Charlotte and Chicago and WI. :-) My daughter, Evelia, is now a 3rd grader at Willow Springs Elementary and we're so very proud of her! We were also very excited to have welcomed Evelia's baby brother, Garin, on January 1st, 2015! His arrival had made our 2015 a happy one, indeed! :-)
All About Mrs Wallace!
For the past 6 years, I have worked at a local preschool as a Preschool teacher. Working with children and watching them grow and learn each day is a true passion of mine. I had the pleasure of joining the Willow Springs team last November and have enjoyed working in first grade! I absolutely love being a part of the Willow Springs team. I can’t wait for another fun and exciting year here in first grade! I hold my North Carolina Credentials in Early Childhood Education and I am currently pursuing my Early Childhood Education Degree. I am married with a one year old little boy! I enjoy spending time with my family, hanging out on the boat at the lake, traveling and making memories! I am so lucky to be a part of Mrs. Mojica’s classroom!
